What is recorded here

Marked only on the 1910 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, it is situated on the W side of a N-S stream towards the bottom of the S-facing slope of Thur Mountain and it is c. 30m ENE of an abandoned farmhouse. Only the N half of the chamber (int. diam. 0.9m; visible H 0.6m) and mound (dims 4m E-W; 2m N-S; H 0.3m at N to 1.1m at E) survives. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
