Structure

A deposit (L 1.37m min.; Wth 0.28m min.; D 0.05m) of two parallel pieces of brushwood and some twigs on the field surface. The wood was in good condition with metal-cut toolmarks and set in well-humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
