Structure

Two parallel pieces of light brushwood in the drain face (Wth 0.11m; D 0.15m). One piece is cut to a wedge point. The wood is in good condition and sits in moderately humified Sphagnum and Eriophorum peat containing ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
