What is recorded here

A small deposit (Wth 0.6m; D 0.12m) of brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.045m) laid one rod deep. The pieces are set 0.05-0.1m apart and do not form a coherent structure. Some of the wood shows evidence for breaking and tearing. It is in moderate condition and sits in poorly humified Sphagnum peat containing ericaceous remains and fibrous roots. The site is located 0.1m below SMR WM039-332----, 0.25m SW of SMR WM039-186---- and 1m to the NE of SMR WM039-333----. Date of upload: 13 August 2013
