What is recorded here
An area of light brushwood and twigs (L 1.64m; Wth 0.88m min.; D 0.22m). The brushwood is largely orientated in an E-W direction. The twigs occur in beds towards the upper part of the site. A number of pieces bear metal-cut chisel points. The site sits in moderately humified Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum. A leather shoe (92E148:80) was recovered 0.3m from the SW end of the site. SMR WM039-203---- is 2m NE of this site and SMR WM039-256----is located 0.9m to the SW.
