Structure

A loose arrangement (Wth 0.42m; D 0.16m) of brushwood (diam. 0.025-0.05m) and twigs in the drain face. One piece of brushwood has been worked to a wedge point. The site is situated in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. SMR OF007-116---- is located 1.5m to the S in the same peat stratum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
