Structure

An irregular deposit of two pieces of light brushwood and two split timber fragments on the field surface (L 0.56m; Wth 0.39m; D 0.06m). The elements are in extremely poor condition and lie in poor to moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2003. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
