Structure

Two split timber fragments (L 1.1m; Wth 0.56m; D 0.02m) in very poor condition on the field surface. They lie in well-humified Sphagnum peat with pockets of Eriophorum and occasional ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2003. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
