What is recorded here
A single hazel roundwood (L 1.09m; diam. 0.062m) with one end worked to a chisel point and the other decayed. Possibly modern. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
