Structure

A dispersed, irregular deposit of over sixteen pieces of mixed brushwood (L 2m min.; Wth 1.91m min.; D 0.09m min.). The elements are up to two pieces in depth. This wood is in good condition with evidence of branch-trimming. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with occasional Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
