Structure

Approximately ten pieces of mixed brushwood, laid three pieces deep, and one roundwood (Wth 0.7m; D 0.2m) in the peat face of a private bog adjacent to the Bord na Móna bog. The wood is irregularly laid and lacks a discernible structure. Two possibly separate sites on the bog surface were initially recorded as part of the site. The first consists of four pieces of light brushwood and one roundwood to the SE. The second consists of two pieces of light brushwood and three roundwoods to the S. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1998. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
