What is recorded here

(q) A rectangular arrangement of upright slabs measuring 1.9 x .85m internally and open to NE. Each side is formed by a single slab .5 to .75m high, and it is possible that the NE side was formerly defined by the pre-bog field wall into which the feature is incorporated. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 25. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 3 August 2013
