What is recorded here

Five stones and a small outlying marker still mark an unlocated circle near Garron Castle. They form an imperfect ring in grass, the kind of place people may have used for prayer, meeting or memory before written records. The exact meaning has faded, but the shape remains: a small circle of stone waiting to be remembered.

Unlocated stone circle within townland that is described by H. Roe in her unpublished article entitled 'A record of archaeological discovery', p. 7 and described as "in the vicinity of Garron Castle there are four boulders in the grass forming an approximate circle with a fifth stone slightly inside the supposed circumference and a small standing stone rather to the north-east of these boulders (p. 7).
