What is recorded here

Five stones circle a three-metre chamber at the head of the Owenbaun River valley, their parallel entrance set end-on like a door waiting for someone tall enough to notice the difference. The western stone has broken to a stump, yet the remaining uprights still mark a complete path across the NW-facing slope. Whatever life moved through that opening did so beneath open sky, likely past the radial enclosure and prostrate slabs scattered below. The circle does not claim to be perfect; it claims to be unchanged.

On platform, on NW-facing slope of Mushera Mountains at head of Owenbaun River valley. Circle complete; entrance stones parallel, set end-on to circumference. Orthostats are 0.85m to 1.5m L, 0.1m to 0.3m T and, apart from stump of W side stone (H 0.15m), 1m to 1.5m H. Internal measurement along main axis, aligned NE-SW, is 3m. Likely dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age, this stone circle may have functioned as a ceremonial or ritual site, possibly aligned with seasonal or astronomical events.
