Detached three-bay single-storey red brick railway station master's house with half-dormer attic, c.1880, retaining original features. Single-bay single-storey extension to west.ROOF: Double-pitched; slate; concrete ridge tiles; red brick chimney stacks; yellow clay pots; gable-fronted to dormer attic window; decorative timber bargeboards; cast-iron rainwater goods; flat-roof to end bay. WALLS: Red brick; yellow brick quoins and dressings. OPENINGS: Segmental-headed window openings; round-headed to dormer attic; granite sills; 2/2 timber sash windows; round-headed door opening; timber panelled door; overlight.
