What is recorded here

Two standing stones once rose from rich, level Donegal land, but local memory says soil and time have buried them. They vanished not through destruction but through the slow patience of earth, leaving behind a clean absence that is easier to imagine than to find.

There is no trace of the 'Standing Stones' (2 shown) marked on the 2nd and 3rd editions of the OS 6-inch map. It is said locally that they are now buried. Situated on rich, level land.
