Standing stone in Tooreenclassagh

Bowman (1934, 653) recorded standing stone 'incorporated in field boundary fence...c. 7ft high'. Stone (H 1.2m; 1.67m x 0.87) is large rounded boulder, long axis NE-SW. According to local information, originally there were three stones forming a triangle, two of which were removed in 1940s; fingermarks of giant who threw the stone on top.
