Knockduff Upper held a ton-weight standing stone, three feet high in the middle of Stone Meadow on Denis Hickey's land. It stood until 1934, when it broke. The meadow kept the shape of its shadow long after the stone disappeared, inviting people to imagine what it marked and who watched it fall.

Broker (1937, 32) recorded standing stone on Denis Hickey's land; '3ft high and about ton weight, in middle of Stone Meadow; broken in 1934'. Exact location not known.
