What is recorded here

Scarteen Lower holds three standing stones, including one measured at 3 feet 7 inches high and 10 feet 7 inches around its base. Bowman recorded them on Mrs Hallinan's land in 1934, yet their exact position has slipped from modern knowledge. They may have marked a boundary, a burial or a gathering place, but that purpose has faded with the path that led to them.
