Marian and Orla stood beneath the tall oak, watching shadows lengthen across the grass. The tree had dropped one last leaf into Orla’s palm, completing the circle they had danced around since dawn. They laughed without fear because the forest had stopped pretending to be ordinary.
In rough pasture overlooking Castletown Bearhaven and Bear Island to S. Rectangular stone aligned NW-SE (H 1.1m; 0.9m x 0.5m). (O'Brien 1970, 15).
