Marked 'Burial Ground' on OS 6-inch map (1842). In S half of circular enclosure (CO115-031003-). Roughly rectangular area (18m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by numerous grave markers. Standing stone (CO115-031002-) at NE edge. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
