What is recorded here

Reanagashel is a standing stone in north Cork. It stands three feet five inches tall, two feet one inch wide and one foot eight inches thick. People have forgotten where it stands, but the stone still belongs to the land.

Bowman (1934, 450) recorded standing stone on J. Angland's land, '...3ft 5in by 2ft 1in by 1ft 8in'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
