What is recorded here

Six stones stood scattered through Nohaval Upper when Bowman recorded them in 1934. The smallest belonged to H. Twomey, rising only two feet yet swelling to nearly twelve feet around. That much thickness in so little height suggests a buried body or a deliberate squat form. The exact spot has slipped from memory, but the stone likely still waits under grass, hedgerow or forgotten field edge.
