What is recorded here

Seven feet of stone stood on J. P. Murphy's farm in Nohaval Daly before men broke it and carried it elsewhere. Bowman recorded that loss in 1934, preserving the height but surrendering the exact spot. The field kept its shape while losing its marker, turning a visible landmark into a memory that resists pointing.

Bowman (1934, 650) recorded standing stone on J. P. Murphy's farm; 'This was broken and removed. It was c. 7 feet high.' Exact location not known.
