What is recorded here

Knocknacurragh holds three standing stones, though their exact positions have slipped from modern memory. Bowman recorded them in 1934, capturing what earlier hands had set into the Cork landscape. They may have marked a boundary, honored a dead person, or simply watched the fields grow. Stone does not rot, but human memory does, leaving behind shape without meaning.
