What is recorded here

Kilpadder South lost a four-foot standing stone in 1926 when men pulled it from M. Regan's land. Bowman recorded the loss in 1934, but the exact spot has faded from memory. The stone may have marked a boundary, a burial or a prayer, yet no one remembers which. What remains is a hollow shape in the field, waiting for someone to drop a marker where the weight disappeared.

Bowman (1934, 559) recorded standing stone on M. Regan's land; '...removed 1926, was c. 4ft high'. Exact location not known.
