Mosaic and chamber are missing, but the edge of the circle is still visible through the pasture. The standing stone leans slightly above the ditch, not like a forgotten marker but like a participant waiting for the rest of the shape to be remembered.

Likely dating to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age, this standing stone was part of a multiple stone circle, possibly used for ceremonial or astronomical purposes. Its position overlooking the Dripsey River valley may have held symbolic or ritual significance in relation to the landscape.
