Standing stone in Grillough: A tall, thin stone, perhaps a marker or a warning, still touches sky while men and women come and go.

Bowman (1934, 152) recorded standing stone on B. Sheehan's land, '...1ft 11in high by 9ft 3in girth'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
