What is recorded here

One rectangular stone still stands in Garraun North tillage, its long edge pointing north-south on a south-facing slope. Condon wrote about three stones there in 1916, two close together and a third farther east, but only one remains clear in the saved description. The lost stones may have been moved, buried or broken when the field changed hands, leaving the last as a quiet marker for a place people once remembered without being told.

In tillage, on S-facing slope. Stone (H 1.15m; 1.15m x 0.35m) is rectangular in plan, long axis N-S. Condon (1916, 140) recorded three stones here; two with N-S long axis and 5ft apart (H 41ins; 3ft x 2ft: H 42ins; 2ft 2ins x 1ft 8ins), the third with E-W long axis 72ft to E (H 48ins).
