Edenacarnan South in County Donegal once held a standing stone on the eastern slope of a hillock, but no visible remains survive today. The loss creates a phantom marker, forcing imagination to complete what the land removed.

Marked as 'Standing Stone' on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map and as 'Gallan (site of)' on the 3rd edition. There are no visible remains. Situated on a gentle slope on the E side of a hillock. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
