What is recorded here
That is a sub-triangular stone standing in Dranagh, County Carlow, reaching 0.85m high and spreading about 1m wide. It is not a distant myth or a buried legend, but a visible stone in a named Irish townland. A person may have set it, touched it, or simply watched it stand while the land changed around it.
A sub-triangular shaped stone (H 0.85m; Wth c. 1m; T 0.3m). Recorded by Ó Murchú (2011, 94) as part of a Master's thesis (Survey number: SS01).
