Coolbane held a tall stone marker on B. Purdon's land beside a fort field, but people removed it before modern cameras arrived. It is gone now, leaving only memory and a hole in the local landscape.

Bowman (1934, 635) recorded standing stone on B. Purdon's land '...in the fort field. This dallan was removed many years ago'. Exact location not known.
