Indicated was a fairy fort in County Cork, a circular earthen ring with a stone-faced bank and outside ditch. Farm buildings and a slurry pit later destroyed much of the enclosure, but a hidden underground passage still lies beneath the changed ground. The fort may have marked a boundary, a home, a shrine or a warning, yet even its loss left a shape that can be imagined rather than seen.

Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; indicated as oval enclosure (c. 40m x c. 30m) on 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps; interior shown as planted with trees on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Arc formed by earthen bank (int. H 2m; ext. H 1.1m) stone faced externally, survives W->N; external fosse (D 1.1m) to NNW, modified to act as drain. Farm buildings have destroyed remainder of bank.
