In level tillage, with land rising sharply a short distance to SW. Depicted as hachured oval enclosure (c. 55m x c. 45m) on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; slight rise indicates position of levelled bank to S and W. Visible in aerial photograph (CASAP) as cropmark of fosse of pentagonal enclosure.
