What is recorded here

Cloghboola Beg holds a tapering stone, pointed like a finger at the sky. It stands in open pasture, leaning slightly into the west wind. People may have set it there to mark a boundary, honour a dead person, or simply watch the seasons turn. The stone has outlived every hand that touched it.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Stone (H 1.15m; 1.1m x 0.45m) is subrectangular in plan, tapering to point at top. Long axis NE-SW.
