What is recorded here

Cappaghavuckee holds a rectangular standing stone on the lower slopes of Slieve Miskish Mountains, facing east and west above Bantry Bay. A boulder burial lies 150m to the west-southwest, suggesting the stone marked death, passage or boundary rather than decoration. Its small size and exposed position imply people could reach it, touch it and orient themselves by the sea.
