Ballynoe holds three standing stones, including 9909 and 9910, tucked into a field fence on D. O'Donovan's land. Bowman measured them at about four feet high in 1934, yet their exact position has slipped from modern sight. They are not monumental or distant; they are neighbours, buried in the practical business of fencing and forgetting.
