No two records agree on the shape of the lake or the life of the person who died beside it. The lake is missing from one map, the boy is missing from the other, and the conflicting claims must be kept visible instead of solved.

One of three standing stones (9909, 9911) incorporated into field fence and recorded by Bowman (1934, 404) on D. O'Donovan's land, ' ...inclining outwards 2ft 6in high and 3ft 5in in width'.
