One of two standing stones (9899) recorded in this townland by Bowman (1934, 492); 'In H. O'Connor's, 1ft 3in by 9ft 5in girth'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
