In Ballyhoolahan West, a standing stone once rose on the land of M. Sheahan before humans broke and removed it. Bowman recorded its disappearance in 1934, leaving behind a hollow where the stone had stood. The exact spot has vanished, but the act of removal remains clear: the place lost its marker, and memory must carry what the earth no longer shows.
