What is recorded here

A rectangular stone stands on the upper slopes of Knocknaveehy More, leaning slightly but refusing to fall. It faces east-northeast, as if waiting for someone to return from the bay below. The wind moves across it like a hand testing whether it is still warm.

On upper slopes of Knocknaveagh with commanding view over Bantry Bay and town to S. Rectangular stone aligned ENE-WSW (H 1.1m; 0.33m x 0.8m).
