St Winifred's Well is a memorial in County Dublin, Ireland. Perhaps the water still cools the stones while carriage wheels grind above. Maybe the well marks a boundary between the living city and the drowned world below. Imagine a woman pouring milk into the dark at midnight, not in worship but in reminder.
