St. Patrick's Well at Golashane is traditionally associated with the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick, and is believed to have curative properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and general health. Such wells were often sites of pilgrimage and ritual washing, reflecting both Christian and pre-Christian healing traditions in Ireland.
