In Upper Aghada. Cruciform church (long axis N-S). Pointed window opes; sash windows with switch line tracery. Two storey embattled bell tower added to S. Galleries in transepts and at S end of nave. Church demolished late 1980s; bell tower remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
