St. Brendan’s Well in Moyna is associated with St. Brendan the Navigator, a 6th-century Irish monk and saint known for his legendary voyages and founding of monastic settlements. Holy wells dedicated to him often feature traditions of healing and pilgrimage, with water believed to have curative properties for ailments such as eye disorders and general ill health.
