Sròn Càrsacleit rises to approximately 500 metres and is part of the rugged landscape of the Outer Hebrides. Its name, like many in the region, is of Gaelic origin, though specific folklore is not widely recorded. It matters as a topographic feature within the island group's national park and protected landscapes.
