Southern Gort na Luchóg is a coastal promontory fort in County Donegal, Ireland. The sea cliff and land likely formed a natural trap where stones added only the final barrier. People may have watched ships, kept livestock or marked a boundary before written history arrived. The Atlantic still throws itself at the same edge, reminding us the fort never stopped working.
