What is recorded here
Northern Gort na Luchóg is a coastal promontory fort in County Donegal, Ireland. Whether it guarded a harbour, marked a boundary or simply watched the sea, that much is lost. What remains is a shape made by human hands on living rock, still holding its line against the water.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV). Currently the information for this record has not been uploaded.
