What is recorded here
South Haven Point is a headland composed primarily of Cretaceous-age limestone, formed through the accumulation and compression of marine sediments over 80 to 100 million years ago. It is notable for its role in the distinctive coastal geology of Dorset, part of the broader Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
