Slab-lined burial in Proleek

In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Slab-lined burial in Proleek is a Neolithic passage tomb, dating to approximately 3500–2500 BCE. It is significant as an example of early megalithic funerary architecture in eastern Ireland, reflecting the spiritual and social practices of Neolithic communities.
